Manchester Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented, organized and creatively inclined procurement manager and bookkeeper to maintain and manage the logistics of our design service work and assist in the day to day operation of our design studio. While this role is primarily administrative and behind the scenes, our ideal candidate also has excellent communication and customer service skills as we are a full service interior design firm with an in-house retail shop.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for ordering, tracking and managing design orders as well as accounting data entry and bookkeeping.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, weekly deposits, payroll, reconciliations, sales tax accounts, and general bookkeeping and accounting needs.
- Order approved merchandise, manage lead times, shipping and delivery confirmations.
- Maintain inventory lists for design projects and retail store.
- Follow up and communicate with vendors regarding item timelines as well as issues/damages/or troubleshooting when necessary.
- Creating reports and providing updates at weekly internal meetings.
- Maintaining general office organization, filing, utilities and supplies.

Job Requirements
- Experience in bookkeeping, purchasing or procurement & office administration
- Organized, able to manage complex logistical timelines, detail oriented, enjoys workings in a fast paced, creative space
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with accounting software, design software a plus
- Proficient Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and MacOS a plus
- Able to report in person at our Westport, MA studio

Pam is an accomplished and authentic interior designer utilizing a client-first approach, helping them discover their own unique style. Pam studied interior design at Chamberlain College in Boston and is a 35-year ASID Allied member.
